a trip down romans road

Last week our discussion centered around how to share the Gospel, and the importance of our own attitude and understanding.  We took the simple Romans road tool and explored what the verses had to say to each of us, and what they mean for someone who wants to know Christ.  It was a great discussion, and we all walked away with a fresh understanding of God’s awesome grace, and excitement to share the good news!

We were also challenged to commit these verses to memory:

Romans 3:23 - …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:13 - “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Bonus: Romans 5:1 - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…

We serve an awesome God!
